We have no idea how to speak French, but we have befriended the owner and chef of the restaurant. #

I got suited up and got tipsy with the big wigs tonight! Then argued smart things after drinking. #
I crashed the adcom cocktail hour for the conference. I was not supposed to be there, but there was champagne, etc…. so why not #
Sleep time!……. #
The bus took forever, but I got to the conference center in time to walk in during the middle of my advisors talk #

Went on a river dinner cruise with all the conference big shots in Besançon tonight. The lock system with a 300m tunnel was cool #
Now showered and shaved in prep for tomorrow morning since I must get up so early. #
Presentation pretty much ready. Gotta get some sleep now to wake up in 5 hours to go to the conference center. #
Tic-toc ’til presentation time. I am a bit nervous. I will be happy when this is over, for better or worse #
