“Imagining the Tenth Dimension” is a book by Rob Bryanton where he explores the possibilities of going beyond 4 dimensions. He created an animated video for chapter one of the book illustrating his concepts behind going from one to ten dimensions.

Confession: Last week, a very small group of us snuck into a public swimming pool. It was quite refressing after the very hot and humid weather with lack of A/C. The midnight scenery with mountains, stars, half-moon and the black forest was absoulutely beautiful. Definitely an amazing and serene experience. To enter multiple fences were scaled a rocky river bed was traversed. This is up there with swimming in the Ice Bach at the English Garden in Munich. Perhaps I should buy a swim suit at some point?

This week it has been too cold to do anything like this.

Last night I briefly went to a music festival called ZMF in Freiburg last night. There was a Cuban percussion band playing in a huge tent. I tried to sneak in to the tent and play the dumb American card when we were stopped. The music sounded absolutely amazing from the outside. A friend of Joel was also playing a free show. The bus ride back was really fun. The bus driver was entertaining the entire bus in the PA system and being quite the comedian (all in German). He started singing and beat boxing. Most entertaining bus ride ever. Sorry no photos to post since I wasn’t lugging my huge camera around.

Below is a quick video explaining twitter. Since I am by no means a full time blogger and would rather experience my trip rather than spend all my time writing, Twitter has allowed me to update this page in small “micro-blog” snippets. This also allows me to keep up with the couple of friends that actually use twitter. It sounds silly at first, but believe me it is extremely useful. Instead of sending a text or calling each person to see what is up tonight I have this. The updates get sent to my phone as a SMS for free in Germany. Now I just need know enough actual people using twitter so that a impromptu twitter party is possible (like the ones in SXSW this year).

Also, I updated a post below with some items I didnt feel like paying 20cents to tweet while in transit to Berlin Friday evening.
