Here are a few of the photos following the football game I captured on my iPhone. If this is the result of an early win for Germany in the EuroCup on a Sunday night, I can not wait to experience what will occur later. The police permitted the harmless celebrations in the streets for the most part. Perhaps it was because they did not want the situation to escalate. Perhaps it was because they were significantly outnumbered.

We watched the beginning of the game at a bar called Cafe Atlantik and then moved to Eschholzplatz for the second half. The park was wet and muddy due to the sudden downpour earlier in the day. They had food and beer tents set up and benches for the many many people. The crowd afterward was exciting and fun to watch. I look forward to the next Germany match on Thursday.

The full set of photos can be viewed here. Next time I hope to have a superior camera with me.
